Carlson Nau Key to Progress Scholarship
Scholarships
lead to education and education translates
to job opportunities. The HUEA Carlson/Nau
Scholarship is given annually to zone
residents who wish to start or continue
their collegiate studies. The maximum
scholarship per year, per student is $2,000.
To qualify, students must:

Have
legal residence within the Hammond
Urban Enterprise Zone for at least
one year. Non-zone residents may apply
if they, a parent, or guardian are
employed at a Hammond Enterprise Zone
business. |

Have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade
point average on a 4.0 scale. |
| |
|
Be
accepted at an accredited university,
college, junior college, vocational,
or technical school. |
| |
|
Be
in need of financial assistance as
verified by the Financial Aid Form |
| |
|
Agree
to complete 100 hours of volunteer
services as directed by the Hammond
Urban Enterprise Association. |
Students
